Job Title: Stock Auditor
Reporting to: Stores Manager
Working Hours: 7.30am - 4.30pm Monday-Friday with a 3.30pm finish on a Friday.
Key Objectives:
Reporting to the Stores Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate counts of stock, identifying discrepancies, and following up with the relevant department. Each day, you will complete stock checks throughout the business.
Responsibilities include:
* Complete accurate stock checks and audits while recording this correctly
* Complete daily routine stock checks
* Identify and problem-solve discrepancies
* Find ways to reduce or eliminate future inventory errors
* Inspect the business to ensure stock levels are correct
* Adhere to health and safety rules and regulations
* Maintain housekeeping in the production area
* Minimize waste by using/disposing of raw materials and consumables efficiently
* Operate all equipment safely and efficiently
* Assist within the stores operations team; flexibility required
* Maintain a safe working environment at all times
* Perform other duties as required, with appropriate training provided
Key Skills and Experience:
* Effective communication skills
* Structured approach to record keeping
* IT skills, including use of tablets/computer software
* Counterbalance/Reach Truck Licence (advantageous)
* Organized, proactive, and self-motivated
* Ability to work to tight deadlines
* Ability to maintain production output and quality
