Senior Account Executive - Commercial Insurance (Inherited Portfolio)

We're working with a highly respected independent insurance broker in North West London who are looking to appoint an experienced Senior Account Executive to take ownership of a substantial inherited portfolio of commercial clients.
This is a senior, client-facing role offering immediate responsibility, autonomy, and the opportunity to work with complex, high-value commercial risks - without the pressure of building a book from scratch.

The Role:
As a Senior Account Executive, you'll be responsible for managing and developing an established portfolio of commercial and corporate clients. You'll act as the primary point of contact, lead renewal strategy, and work closely with internal broking and account handling teams to deliver outstanding client outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Taking ownership of an inherited portfolio of commercial clients
* Leading client relationships and renewal strategy
* Managing complex insurance programmes across multiple commercial lines
* Working closely with account handlers and technical teams to service clients
* Identifying opportunities to enhance cover and grow client relationships
* Building strong relationships with insurers and senior stakeholders
* Ensuring all activity complies with FCA and internal governance standards

About You:
* Proven experience as an Account Executive managing complex commercial or corporate clients
* Strong technical knowledge across core commercial classes
* Confident leading senior client relationships and renewal discussions
* Commercially astute with strong negotiation skills
* Professional, proactive, and client-focused
* Cert CII / Dip CII qualified or working towards
* Experience with Acturis or similar broking systems desirable
