Job Overview
Avery Healthcare is seeking a caring and enthusiastic individual to join the team as a Care Assistant at Barnet Grange Care Home in Barnet. The role involves assisting residents with personal hygiene care, recognising clinical risks, and maintaining a respectful and dignified approach towards residents and visitors.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist residents in all personal hygiene care, ensuring optimum independence, dignity and respect.
* Recognise and understand clinical risk areas such as weight loss, pressure sores, risk of falls, signs of infection, and escalated identified risks in a timely manner.
* Act courteously towards residents and visitors, respecting the dignity and individuality of each resident.
* Practise safe systems of work across the range of tasks.

Requirements
* No prior experience required; thorough induction and training provided.
* Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
* Demonstrate initiative, respect towards residents and team members, and be an efficient worker capable of following instructions.
* Adaptable and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities on short notice.
* Willowng willingness to undergo a DBS Disclosure check; the cost will be met by Avery Healthcare.
* Proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
* Must comply with the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and be available for a Disclosure and Barring Service check.
