YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Planning and execution of engine or vehicle development program
2. Calibration dataset development in-line with guidelines for the relevant attributes
3. Analysis of results and preparation of recommendations
4. Dataset validation for all ambient conditions both in facility and in territory, including final reporting and documentation
5. Liaison and reporting to various functions within the organisation
YOUR PROFILE:
Essential:
6. BEng in Mechanical/Automotive or related engineering discipline
7. Experience within the automotive industry in diesel calibration
8. Knowledge of combustion engine fundamentals
9. Knowledge of exhaust after-treatment hardware
10. Knowledge of EMS and related tools and software
11. Knowledge of EU OBD calibration and development
12. Excellent inter-personal and communication skills
13. Project management skills
14. Capable of working independently as well as part of large and small teams
Preferable:
15. Experience in vehicle testing and data analysis
16. Knowledge of data analysis tools such as AVL Concerto or equivalent
17. Knowledge of statistical analysis methods and tools
18. Programming skills in MATLAB
Preferred:
19. Masters or PhD in specific subject area preferred

Annual Remuneration: Due to UKVI compliance requirements, we are obligated to state the annual gross salary (full-time) for this position. The salary range is between £35,000 - £45,000 and we will offer market-conforming remuneration taking qualifications and professional experience into account.
