Adecco is seeking a Project Support Officer to join the Housing team of our Local Authority client.
This role plays a key part in delivering the Warmer Homes initiative and supporting other carbon reduction and decontamination projects. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to impactful projects that improve housing quality and promote environmental sustainability.
Project Support Officer
Public Sector - Local Authority
Temporary Role - 3 months (possible extension)
Full Time - Monday to Friday, 36 hours per week
Grade 6 - £18.92 per hour PAYE / £24.92 per hour Umbrella
Hybrid Working - 5 days a week for the first few weeks and then 3 days per week (subject to service needs).

Key responsibilities include:
Providing comprehensive project support across sustainability and housing improvement programs.
Assisting with stock condition reporting and Category 1 hazard identification and resolution (e.g., damp and mould issues).
Managing and tracking service team complaints to ensure timely and effective resolution.
Key Skills and Competencies Required
Skilled in mail merging and managing bulk correspondence to residents.
Experienced in organising, scheduling, and booking meeting rooms/venues; proficient in facilitating meetings, workshops, and accurately recording minutes.
Strong ability to process, interpret, and analyse diverse datasets efficiently.
Knowledgeable in raising purchase orders and processing invoices for payment.
Highly IT literate with proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Competent in creating and maintaining spreadsheets for data recording and reporting.
Experienced in accessing and updating company databases to extract and report information.
Provides comprehensive administrative support to teams and services.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Skilled in monitoring and managing team projects, including task tracking, milestone management, and updating reporting trackers.
Capable of conducting research and compiling information for reports.
Adept at handling queries and complaints from residents, stakeholders, consultants, suppliers, and contractors.
