Job Summary / Job Purpose Form a sound knowledge of production processes, raw materials and finished products, carry out line trials and product evaluations. Key Accountabilities (Summary) Carry out process evaluations, ingredient changes, flavour enhancements and packaging changes for new and existing products Gather and process data and assess, panel and score new product variants. Manage and document projects in accordance with Tayto NPD system requirements. Key Responsibilities Form a sound knowledge of production processes, raw materials and finished products, carry out line trials and product evaluations Prepare, dispatch and record product development samples Carry out factory trial activities : Programme trial opportunities with site planners and operations teams to facilitate timely, efficient trial activities. Liaise with site operations to ensure materials are available and line teams understand our requirements Manage line trials on factory production lines, supervising input from site teams including operations, technical and quality as required. Record and monitor outputs from trials including recipe changes, line outputs, product quality readings and packaging details. Manage and document projects in accordance with Tayto NPD system requirements Essential Skills & Experience Proficiency in Microsoft Word & Excel Familiarity with business systems such as Navision or SAP Ability to analyse and report on projects and their status Experience of writing and delivering effective, informative reports Ability to plan and prioritise own workload Strong communication skills both verbal and written High degree of attention to detail and accuracy Additional Information Travel Requirements: Limited may require very occasional visit to GB
