Join to apply for the Events Lead role at E.ON Next

We're looking for an organised, creative and collaborative Event Lead to help us deliver outstanding events and engaging communications that truly connect with our audiences.

Working closely with senior leaders, operational teams and our Internal Communications colleagues, you'll plan, coordinate and deliver a wide range of internal and external events that reflect the heart of E.ON Next, making every guest feel valued and every message land perfectly. You'll also support the creation of high quality, inclusive content, ensuring consistency across channels and helping to tell our story with warmth, clarity and purpose.

Here's a taste of what you'll be doing:

Content & messaging support

Create, edit and adapt content for events, presentations and communications materials

Ensure all materials are accessible, engaging and aligned with organisational priorities

Maintain message consistency across multiple events and channels

Gather feedback to make ongoing improvements to content quality and impact

Design and coordinate inclusive, engaging events that inspire and connect people

Manage event logistics - venue booking, catering, travel arrangements, technical setup and supplier management

Coordinate on the day event delivery, including setup, hosting, guest welcoming, and post event wrap up

Prepare event materials such as agendas, itineraries and delegate packs.

Partner with colleagues to plan recognition moments, celebrations and community engagement activities

Make the most of our London House venue to showcase our work and strengthen relationships

Coordination & administration

Maintain event timelines, checklists and budgets.

Liaise with suppliers, venues and third parties to ensure seamless delivery.

Keep stakeholders updated on progress and requirements

Collect, analyse and share attendee feedback to inform future events

Are we the perfect match?

Proven experience in event coordination, communications or content creation

You have a gift for creating experiences that inspire and connect people

Strong skills in event planning, organisation and delivery with an eye for detail and care for quality

Confident at bringing diverse stakeholders together and finding common ground

Skilled communicator, able to adapt your style to different audiences with ease

Comfortable making quick, thoughtful decisions in fast moving situations

Experienced in managing budgets with care and transparency

Able to keep calm under pressure while keeping others reassured and informed

Able to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment

Committed to fostering inclusion and ensuring everyone feels part of the conversation

Competent in Microsoft Office and event management tools.

It would be great if you had:

Experience shaping and delivering multi-channel communication strategies that enhance engagement

A track record in guiding agencies and suppliers with a collaborative, solution-focused approach

Strong project management skills across complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives

A creative spark for finding new ways to bring people and ideas together

Knowledge of community engagement and corporate responsibility activities

Understanding of how to balance strategic objectives with a warm, human touch
