Negotiator – Rugby Based
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and driven Negotiator to manage all aspects of Operational Procurement within Cement Operations and Regional EMEAA network. The role is responsible for supplier negotiations, contract management, and ensuring the on-time sourcing of goods and services critical to our plant operations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead local supplier negotiations to secure the best commercial terms, ensuring quality, cost efficiency, and risk mitigation.
* Manage a portfolio of contracts and suppliers, ensuring compliance with internal policies and legal requirements.
* Support cement plant operations and maintenance by guaranteeing continuity of supply and alignment with business plans.
* Develop and implement sourcing strategies that deliver measurable cost savings and performance improvements.
* Collaborate with regional and global procurement teams to ensure consistency, data sharing, and best practices across the business.
* Oversee vendor management, including performance assessments, H&S compliance, and sustainability certification.
* Administer SAP transactions, outline agreements, and procurement documentation to ensure efficiency and transparency.
Qualifications & Experience:
* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Procurement, Supply Chain, or related field (CIPS Diploma desirable).
* Minimum 3+ years’ experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management within an industrial or manufacturing setting.
* Demonstrated success in commercial negotiations and delivering annual cost savings.
* Strong knowledge of SAP systems, data analysis, and supplier performance tracking.
* Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
