As Hygiene Operative, it is your responsibility to ensure the facilities, equipment and infrastructure on site are cleaned to high standards whilst maintaining a safety-first approach. Key Accountabilities To ensure that daily schedules are adhered to and the assigned areas meet the required standards. To contribute as part of a team and assist in meeting the departments Key Performance Indicators. Identify area’s that have a potential associated risk to food safety and raise and action accordingly. Reporting of defects or potential hazards to the Hygiene Controller / Coordinator. Issue and manage deliveries of work wear from the Laundry Assisting manufacturing in reduction of waste and the removal of bakery and returns waste Cleaning and litter picking of the site perimeter Replenishment and cleaning of facilities Cleaning the canteen and surrounding area. The Right Person ✅Awareness and understanding of health and safety requirements. ✅Awareness of COSHH regulations and the safe use of chemicals ✅Experience with Hazards/Near Miss reporting. ✅Demonstrate pride and passion, great working environment producing quality site standards ✅Able to provide a high standard of work, assisting departments cross functionally ✅ Experience in a cleaning role, preferably industrial, with high standards, good attention to detail and a willingness to work to rigorous procedures.Why Join Us?
