We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. This role is crucial for the smooth operation of our financial processes and requires a strong understanding of various accounting software.
Responsibilities
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software Xero.
* Manage accounts payable, ensuring timely payments to suppliers and vendors.
* Prepare and process invoices, receipts, and other financial documents.
* Reconcile bank statements and ensure all transactions are accurately recorded.
* Assist in the preparation of financial reports and statements for management review.
* Monitor and track expenses to ensure adherence to budgetary constraints.
* Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary financial information.
* Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards.
Skills
* Proficiency in accounting software Xero is essential.
* Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and financial record keeping.
* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data effectively.
* Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
