Chef de Partie - Imjin Barracks Location: Imjin Barracks ⏰ Hours: 40 hours per week Pay: £15.17 per hour Shift Pattern: Early: 06:30 - 14:00 Late: 12:00 - 19:30 1 in 4 weekends required Meal Service Times: Breakfast: 07:00 - 08:00 Lunch: 12:00 - 13:00 Evening Meal: 18:00 - 19:00 We’re currently recruiting an ambitious and skilled Chef de Partie to join our team at Imjin Barracks, helping us deliver exceptional food experiences for the Defence sector. As a Chef de Partie, you’ll play a vital role in supporting the Head Chef and Sous Chef with daily operations, ensuring every meal served is of the highest standard — nutritious, well-presented, and full of flavour. What You’ll Be Doing Preparing and serving high-quality, delicious food for service times Supporting the creation and implementation of new menus and food concepts Overseeing section preparation and ensuring consistent quality across all dishes Monitoring stock levels and assisting with inventory management Maintaining the highest standards of food hygiene, safety, and cleanliness Ensuring compliance with Food Handling, Hygiene, and Health & Safety regulations Providing guidance and support to junior kitchen staff About You We’re looking for someone who: Has proven experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar role Holds City & Guilds 706/1 & 2, NVQ equivalent, and a Food Hygiene Certificate Is passionate about great-tasting food and excellent service Has experience supervising or mentoring a small team Is reliable, adaptable, and thrives in a busy kitchen environment Has a flexible approach to working hours Why Join Us?
