The role of Financial Reporting Technical Training Specialist offers an excellent opportunity to be a senior member of the Financial Reporting Training team, contributing to developing the next generation of accountants and auditors. Role description
The Financial Reporting training team collaborates with audit, tax, and consulting to contribute to the firm's success and client service.
Our goal is to empower colleagues through targeted, well-designed training that bridges theoretical knowledge and practical application.
As a trainer in financial reporting for audit, your responsibilities include:
1. Developing relationships with the audit training director and stakeholders to identify training needs.
2. Designing and implementing training strategies.
3. Collaborating with the wider team to identify cross-service training opportunities.
The ideal candidate will:
1. Be an excellent project manager capable of designing and delivering complex content on schedule.
2. Have experience with various training mediums, especially online and eLearning.
3. Influence senior stakeholders to deliver high-quality training for the audit line.
About the ideal candidate
Effective trainers bring content to life with engaging delivery and clear communication. Strong project and time management skills are essential for supporting the training program.
The role requires:
* ACA, ICAS, or equivalent qualification.
* Knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP is desirable, with an interest in non-financial reporting.
* Previous training experience is a plus but not mandatory.
* Ability to work remotely with flexible options, including travel for in-person training, with advance notice.
