The Senior Digital PR Specialist creates and delivers high-impact digital PR campaigns that drive visibility, authority, and measurable SEO outcomes. They combine creativity with data-led thinking to generate ideas that earn coverage and strengthen client performance.

As a senior practitioner, they mentor others, maintain high standards across ideation, outreach, and reporting, and collaborate across teams to deliver integrated results. They are actively developing commercial and strategic capability through supported leadership in client forums (calls and Quarterly Strategic Reviews).

Core Responsibilities

* Lead day-to-day Digital PR strategy and delivery across assigned accounts and workstreams.
* Analyse performance, diagnose issues, and turn insight into practical recommendations.
* Lead ideation, planning, and execution of digital PR campaigns that earn coverage and links.
* Build and maintain relationships with journalists, editors, and relevant stakeholders.
* Write compelling pitches and campaign copy tailored to target audiences and publications.
* Analyse campaign performance and identify opportunities for improvement and repeatability.
* Produce clear reporting and recommendations, focusing on what changed, why, and what we are doing next.
* Actively develop consultant-ready capability by contributing to client calls and QBRs, with supported ownership where appropriate.
* Provide coaching, peer review, and feedback to specialists and executives to raise standards.
* Support best practice development through templates, processes, and quality checks.
* Contribute to pitches, renewals, and proposals by providing channel insight, evidence, and recommendations.
* Stay up to date with industry changes and translate them into delivery improvements.
* Uphold Liberty’s delivery and quality standards in every aspect of work.
* Own quality and impact across digital PR campaigns, ensuring coverage and authority outcomes support client goals.
* Support client retention and renewal through consistent delivery and clear recommendations.
* Identify opportunities for optimisation, efficiency, and process improvement.
* Support team training, mentoring, and knowledge sharing to elevate capability.
* Secure high-quality media coverage and backlinks across relevant publications.
* Collaborate with Client Services, SEO, Paid Media, Content, Digital PR, and Social to align activity with wider campaigns and client objectives.
* Ensure there is a high level of link and coverage diversity to maximise the impact of increasing client domain profiles.


The ideal person

* At least four years proven experience (ideally in an agency environment) running successful digital PR campaigns, including media outreach and authority building.
* Commercially minded, able to connect performance to client goals and outcomes.
* Confident communicator who builds trust with clients and colleagues.
* Highly organised and proactive, able to manage priorities across multiple workstreams.
* Collaborative across disciplines, supporting integrated planning and delivery.
* Analytical and solutions-focused, turning insight into clear recommendations.
