Product Owner - App(16368)
Description
We are easyJet, a FTSE-100 listed, multi-billion-pound low-cost airline serving tens of millions of customers every year. Chances are you’ve flown with us - and you’ll know there’s no more iconic (or Orange!) travel brand in Europe.
We’re building the future of the easyJet app, and we’re looking for a Product Owner to lead a brand-new squad dedicated to improving the holidays experience. This is a unique opportunity to shape how our customers discover, book, and manage holidays in our app - and how we support them on the day of travel and beyond.
This is permanent opportunity, based in Luton. (Hybrid Working with flexibility to also use partner agency hubs in central London locations)
What you’ll be doing
1. Own the end-to-end app holidays experience - from discovery and booking, through travel management, to in-destination support.
2. Manage and prioritise the product backlog, quarterly roadmaps, and KPIs, contributing to the broader app strategy.
3. Lead Agile ceremonies with delivery managers, engineers, and designers (refinement, sprint planning, retrospectives).
4. Translate customer problems into clear user stories and epics, ensuring the team delivers real value iteratively.
5. Champion UX, accessibility, and inclusive design to create frictionless, delightful app experience.
6. Partner with stakeholders across easyJet to ensure solutions solve real problems without operational impact.
7. Use insights, analytics, and experimentation to guide decisions - always evidence-driven, not assumption-based.
8. Bring fresh ideas and innovation to the app holidays space, challenging the status quo with a clear product mindset.
Requirements of the Role
What you’ll bring to the team
9. A strong product mindset - building around customer needs, not opinions.
10. Proven experience in app product management within B2C, ideally e-commerce or travel.
11. Deep understanding of UX and accessibility best practices.
12. Strong communicator - comfortable with ambiguity, able to influence, and confident using data to validate decisions.
13. A “customer-first” advocate who can balance customer value with business outcomes.
14. An avid Agile practitioner, skilled at working cross-functionally with engineers, designers, and stakeholders.
15. Technical awareness of APIs and app development (no coding required, but ability to understand how things fit together).Airline/travel industry
16. experience is a plus, but not essential.
17. Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Miro, Figma and user research platforms.

This is a rare chance to join at the start of something new - a dedicated squad focused on transforming the holidays experience in our app. You’ll have the autonomy to drive meaningful change, the backing of a FTSE-100 brand, and the scale to make an impact for millions of customers across Europe.
At easyJet, you’ll join a collaborative, ambitious team that values innovation, supports your growth, and encourages bold ideas. You’ll be at the heart of reshaping how our customers travel - and your work will be visible, measurable, and celebrated.
