Designer Recruitment is proud to represent a premium kitchen company in search of an Admin & Showroom Advisor. This is an exciting opportunity to work in the luxury kitchen sector, supporting a high-end brand with projects ranging from bespoke kitchens to bedroom and bathroom furniture.
Salary: £25-28k depending on experience + commission after probation
Hours: Full-time, 9:00-17:00, 2 Saturdays per month (alternated) with a weekday off
Main Responsibilities Sales & Customer Engagement Welcome visitors and be the first point of contact in the showroom.
Show customers around, answer questions, and deliver an excellent first impression.
Enthuse customers about products and explain the sales process.
Take leads both in-person and over the phone, manage the database, and organise appointments for designers.
Assist designers with presentations as needed, ensuring customers always feel welcomed.
Answer general enquiries from customers and fitters, transferring calls appropriately.
Participate in continual training to increase product knowledge and become an expert in showroom offerings.
Administration Manage calendars, emails, and appointments.
Keep track of weekly schedules, fitting appointments, and site visits.
Liaise with customers, fitters, and suppliers to ensure smooth running of jobs.
Organise thank-you cards, flowers, and general showroom stationery.
Handle post, payments, and filing of invoices/paperwork.
Assist with IT issues and liaise with IT support when necessary.
Keep up-to-date with supplier promotions and communicate details to customers.
Finance Enter new customer sales into the system.
Check sales reports for accuracy and send receipts and VAT invoices to customers.
Follow up with customers regarding balances, ensuring timely payments.
Marketing & Social Media Update website with new photos, testimonials, ranges, and events.
Assist with organising showroom events (open evenings, charity events, etc.).
Support advertising schedules and maintain social media presence (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest).
Help generate content ideas and manage posts/stories.
Order and maintain uniform, van signage, and marketing boards.
Encourage and monitor customer reviews.
General Showroom Management Ensure the showroom is tidy and welcoming throughout the day.
Adhere to opening and closing procedures.
Maintain samples, brochures, and stationery stock.
Maintain coffee machine and provide refreshments for visitors and reps.
After-Sales Support Assist customers with issues to reach satisfactory resolutions.
Support project coordinators and designers with various tasks.
Establish yourself as a key contact for both customers and suppliers.
Training In-showroom and external training courses covering:
High-end appliances
Luxury kitchen furniture
Bespoke bedroom furniture
Premium worktops (stone, engineered surfaces, and timber)
Sales and customer service training
Experience & Requirements Proficient in Outlook, Excel, and Word.
Excellent customer service and telephone skills.
Well-organised, proactive, and a strong team player.
Good communicator with a professional and friendly manner.
