NESFircroft are working in conjunction with an industry leading power cabling client who require CV’s for review in preparation to fulfil the role of Environmental Manager based in Ipswich. The role will be predominantly home based with some site visits required. As the project moves into the construction phase more site attendance will be required. The role will be available on a Contract basis. Outside IR35 status given, reviewed on a 6 month basis via assessment. For the correct, competent and suitable candidate a 6 month initial contract will be issued. Extension likely given project timelines The Manager position will include managing pre-construction surveys, writing environmental documentation such as plans and procedures, planning and applying for environmental permits and consents. This person will also require previous experience managing environmental service providers. Candidate requirements Degree / diploma or equivalent in Environmental Management Hold a valid CSCS or CCNSG Card At least 10 years’ experience in Environmental Management Have active Continual Professional Development as an Environmental Manager Previously held management positions on Renewable Energy Projects, specifically cable installation.
