Our client is currently seeking an Electrical Craft Team Member to become an integral part of their multi-skilled shift team. If you are passionate about problem-solving and thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, we want to hear from you!
What You Will Do:
As an Electrical Craft Team Member, your primary responsibility will be to ensure their electrical systems operate at peak performance while adhering to the highest safety standards. Your daily tasks will include:
Conducting planned and reactive maintenance across the plant to minimise downtime and keep machinery running efficiently.
Troubleshooting and diagnosing faults in relay control circuits, AC and DC motors, and various drives.
Performing basic PLC fault-finding on Siemens S7 300, 1200, and 1500 PLCs.
Interpreting electrical drawings and utilising computerised maintenance management systems (MMS).
Identifying and implementing improvement projects to enhance plant reliability and performance.What You Will Need:
We are looking for a qualified electrician with hands-on experience in a heavy industrial setting. Candidates should possess:
An apprenticeship or a Level 3 qualification (BTEC, City & Guilds, or NVQ Level 3) in Electrical Engineering.
Experience with low voltage systems, drives, and PLCs.
Competence in electrical fault-finding and root cause failure analysis.
Familiarity with SAP PM or similar maintenance management systems is preferred.This role follows a rotating shift pattern of days, lates, and nights (Monday to Friday), so flexibility is essential. Being a team player is crucial, as you'll be working alongside a multi-skilled engineering team. Holding an 18th Edition qualification or basic mechanical knowledge is a bonus.
