Your focus will be on the planning, delivery, evaluation, recording, and reporting of essential mandatory and professional training programmes, ensuring staff are equipped to provide exceptional care in line with our organisational values, sector standards, and Care Quality Commission requirements.
Package
* £14.90 per hour starting salary with room for negotiation for experienced candidates.
* Based Launceston or Exmouth with occasional travel to Cornwall offices
* 16 hours a week over two days these can be set days

Responsibilities Will Include
* Assisting the Training Manager in all aspects of learning and development.
* Independently delivering engaging and effective training sessions on mandatory and core subjects.
* Collaborating with the training team to assess Care Certificates and provide constructive feedback.
* Conducting individual and group training sessions to address specific learning needs.
* Contributing to the development and updating of training resources, ensuring they reflect best practice.
* Providing clear and constructive feedback to trainees and accurately recording training evidence.
* Maintaining accurate training records and matrices.
* Proactively engaging in continuous professional development (PDP), including participating in a double-handed care run every three months to maintain practical understanding.
* Actively participating in team meetings and other relevant meetings.
* Undertaking specific tasks and projects as assigned by the Training Manager within the scope of the role.
* Liaising effectively with Diploma assessors for staff undertaking Diploma training.
* Supporting staff in their professional development and ensuring compliance with agreed standards.
* Building relationships with learning institutions to promote access to training opportunities at all levels.
Requirements
* Proven experience working within the health and social care sector.
* Confidence working collaboratively within a team, coupled with the self-motivation to work independently with minimal supervision.
* Excellent organisational and time management skills.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills, enabling you to deliver clear and engaging training.
* A flexible and adaptable approach to tasks and changing priorities.
* Competent computer literacy.
* A full driving license
Preferred
* A training qualification equivalent to or higher than Level 3 Education and Training.
* Up-to-date training qualifications in First Aid and Moving and Handling.
