HGV Class 2 Driver - Multi DropLocation: CardiffJob Type: Full timeContract Type: PermanentSalary: Competitive + BonusDo you hold a valid HGV Class 2 Licence and looking for a new challenge?Here at TradeChoice Carpet and Flooring we are looking for an experienced Class 2 HGV Driver to support our busy warehouse helping to transport stock to our branches. You will be responsible for performing multi-drop deliveries safely, efficiently and on schedule. Key responsibilities
* Oversee the loading and unloading of the HGV to ensure it is conducted correctly and safely.
* Conduct quality checks upon delivery and obtain customer signatures as proof of receipt.
* Maintain full compliance with tachograph legislation and relevant safety regulations.
* Keep the vehicle clean, well-maintained, and free from preventable damage.
* Report any accidents or incidents immediately, following company procedures.
* Complete and submit daily vehicle inspection sheets to the Operations Manager.
Key skills
* Valid commercial driving licence (C) with a clean driving record.
* Valid Driver CPC
* Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices for transporting goods.
* Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading cargo.
* Excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team
