As an apprentice, you will be supported by an excellent team of driven IT professionals, who pride themselves on delivering tailored and cutting-edge client-focused solutions. In this role, you'll work towards your Level 3 IT Support Apprenticeship, delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships. A Typical Day in the Job: Resolving application and hardware issues. Giving server and network support Working as part of a helpdesk to solve IT issues. Troubleshooting and problem-solving Assisting clients over the phone, email, and other platforms to resolve issues. Working within a ticketing system - troubleshooting using Cherwell, Bomgar, RMM, Citrix. Assist with roll out and build of laptops and surfaces pro. - upgrade hard disk, replace screens, upgrade memory and battery replacements. Installing and configuring Office 365 for new users - installing soft phone systems - configuring servers on virtual machines Exposed to platforms such as (i.e: Batch, Powershell) - powershell utilisation for troubleshooting. Salary, Hours & Benefits: £14,722.50 Monday to Friday - 9am-5pm or 8am-4pm 23 days annual leave Bank Holidays Training bonus for relevant qualifications/certifications Pension scheme Desired Qualities, Skills and Knowledge: Has a passion for IT. Good customer service skills. Any technical knowledge/experience is an advantage. Grade 5 in GCSE English and Grade 4 in GCSE Maths required.
