A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced SERVICE MANAGER to join a long-established, family-owned automotive main dealership representing 2 quality mainstream brands. The group has multiple dealerships across Cornwall.

The Role
As Service Manager, you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day running of a busy aftersales department. You will lead and motivate a dedicated team, ensuring the highest standards of customer service, efficiency, and profitability are consistently achieved.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee all aspects of the service department, including workshop, front-of-house, and support functions
* Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention
* Manage and develop a team of Service Advisors and Technicians
* Monitor and improve department performance against key KPIs (labour sales, efficiency, utilisation)
* Control costs and maximise profitability while maintaining quality standards
* Ensure compliance with all health & safety and manufacturer standards
* Handle customer concerns and resolve issues professionally
About You
* Proven experience as a Service Manager or Senior Aftersales professional within the motor trade
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop a team
* Commercially minded with a track record of achieving targets
* Excellent communication and organisational abilities
* Customer-focused approach with a passion for delivering outstanding service
* Knowledge of dealer management systems and workshop processes
