JOB TITLE: WAREHOUSE AND LOGISTICS OPERATOR POSITION OVERVIEW: We are seeking a committed and organised Warehouse and Logistics Operator to become part of our team. The ideal candidate will play an essential role in facilitating the efficient functioning of our warehouse and logistics operations. This position prioritises safety, precision, and teamwork to help us reach our operational objectives. We are looking for an adaptable individual who can adjust to changing circumstances as needed. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: WAREHOUSE OPERATIVE DUTIES: Assist with loading vehicles and checking in stock. Sort and place materials onto racks and shelves. Pick Stock Inventory to fulfil orders. Conduct inventory controls and stock takes using scanners or computers. Perform stock counting and location checks. Safely and efficiently operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet trucks. Organise and maintain the warehouse space to ensure products are stored correctly and are easily accessible. Adhere to safety protocols and help maintain a clean and organized work environment. LOGISTICS COORDINATION: Assist in preparing export shipping documentation. Communicate with carriers and vendors to facilitate pickups and deliveries. Monitor shipments to ensure timely arrivals and address any issues that may arise. Liaise with our clients, updating them on deliveries/collections DOCUMENTATION: Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions and shipping documents. Assist in generating reports on inventory levels and order fulfilment as needed. TEAM COLLABORATION: Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations within the warehouse. Participate in team meetings and contribute to improvement initiatives. Willing to travel to London on occasion to assist event installations, stock rotations of the showroom or attend staff meetings. QUALIFICATIONS: GCSEs or additional education or certifications in logistics or supply chain management are a plus. Previous experience in warehouse operations or logistics is preferred. Familiarity with inventory management software and warehouse management systems. Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office. REQUIRED SKILLS: Strong organisational skills.
