Hourly Paid Confidential Counsellor
Location: Leek College / Newcastle and Stafford Colleges Group (NSCG)
Hours: Approximately 7 hours per week
Salary: £25.38 per hour

Responsibilities
 * Promote the greater well‑being of students by offering a confidential counselling service.
 * Facilitate individual growth and development.
 * Maintain a close working relationship with colleagues whilst respecting professional confidentiality.
 * Develop awareness amongst students and staff of the counselling function and the nature of the support offered.
 * Liaise with relevant parties where appropriate and with the knowledge of the student concerned.
 * Develop and offer personal tutor tutorial workshops on topical issues.
Required Skills and Experience
 * Be a member of the BACP with a Diploma in Counselling or above.
 * Have experience working with young people and managing a wide range of mental health difficulties.
 * Possess excellent communication and group presentational skills.
