Job Description
You will assist with Chargebacks relating to card payments and various payment methods in the Card Not Present environment. This will include payment disputes (chargebacks), along with investigating and identifying fraud.
Being a point of contact, assisting customers and colleagues providing solutions over email and internal systems for various payment queries.
You will find patterns, trends and inaccuracies in multi £M of “Card Not Present” transactions, playing a key role in an integral part of our business.
The responsibilities:
* Processing our Card Payment and PayPal chargebacks.
* Communicating with customers and colleagues over email and internal, assisting with payment enquiries
* Building relationships with key stakeholders, both internally and externally.
* Looking for patterns/trends in chargeback activity and communicating out to the wider team and business
* Working as a team to implement best practice for the Group.
* Ensuring meticulous attention to detail when investigating and building representment docs (defences).
Fixed Term contract until 1st of March 2027
Qualifications
* Experience in a contact centre environment role with exposure to fraud cases/situations/ways of working
* Focused and fearless in approach to work
* Able to spot trends and communicate effectively to the wider team
* Capacity to work independently as well as part of a team particularly in high pressured situations
* A positive ‘can do’ attitude and excellent work ethic
* Computer literate- Outlook, Excel, MS Teams
