Driver Require are recruiting for our client based in Nuneaton, DX Logistics is seeking a reliable and safety-focused Yard Shunter to support depot operations by moving trailers and rigid vehicles safely and efficiently between loading bays and yard locations using a Terberg shunt vehicle or HGV Vehicle.Key ResponsibilitiesOperate a Terberg or yard shunt unit to move trailers on and off loading bays (doors)Ensure trailers are positioned correctly and safely for warehouse loading/unloadingShuttle trailers between yard parking areas and designated bays in line with loading plansCarry out vehicle and trailer safety checks before use, report any defects, damages, or safety concerns promptly.Maintain accurate records of trailer movements where requiredWork closely with warehouse operatives, traffic office, and gatehouse staffEnsure yard is kept organised, safe, and compliant with site proceduresAdhere to all DX Logistics operational and health & safety policiesStart times between 17:00 - 20:00 Monday to Friday, some weekends may be required .PAY RATES - Per Hour£18.00£20.17 (Including holiday pay)Skills & Experience RequiredPrevious experience as a yard shunter or in a transport yard environment preferredExperience operating a Terberg or similar shunt vehicle advantageous (first few weeks will be using a HGV Unit)Good awareness of health & safety in a logistics environment, ability to work in a fast- paced, time-sensitive operation.Strong teamwork and communication skills, flexible and reliable with a proactive attitude.Working HoursStart times between 17:00 - 20:00 Monday to Friday, some weekends may be required.Free text to DRIVER to 80800 and we will be in contactor call 01827 370260 to apply.#INDTAMTPBN1_UKTJ
