Utilities Operatives
Truro, Cornwall – Daily travel required
Hourly rate dependent on PAYE/Umbrella and length of contract required.
Company vehicle provided to commute from job to job (collected daily from outskirts of Truro)
Morva Recruitment are working with a well-established utilities contractor seeking experienced Utilities Operatives to join established gangs across Cornwall.
This is a hands-on role working on roadside utilities projects, including excavation, ducting and reinstatement. You will be working in gangs of 3–4 depending on the project.
The Role:

Roadside utilities and civils works
*
Excavation, duct installation and reinstatement
*
Working safely in live environments
*
Representing the business professionally on site
*
Daily travel to the outskirts of Truro to collect the work vehicle
Requirements:
*
Proven utilities experience (essential)
*
Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points
*
Ability to work effectively within a team
*
CSCS and/or CPCS preferred (not essential)
*
Streetworks/NRSWA advantageous
Rates will vary depending on whether you are PAYE or Umbrella, as well as the longevity of work you are seeking. Ongoing work available for the right candidates.
