A new exclusive opportunity, we are looking for a commercially focused Group Financial Director to join a successful privately owned group of companies based in Bradford, with a turnover of 20m. This is a key leadership role, reporting directly to the owners, with wide-ranging responsibility across all financial, commercial and operational aspects of the group.
The Role Includes:
* Preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reporting
* Cashflow management, forecasting and oversight of funding requirements (loans, overdrafts, leases)
* Managing foreign currency purchases, forward contracts, and supplier payments in multiple currencies
* Company secretarial duties, compliance and governance
* Overseeing intercompany transactions and recharges
* Preparation and submission of VAT returns
* Managing Sage 200, Sage CRM and MS Office systems
* Oversight of insurances, utilities and fleet management
* Supporting capital expenditure projects and property management
* Identifying and securing grant funding and R&D tax credits
* Managing construction project finances and cost controls
* Liaison with external auditors and professional advisors
