Based at the Stockton HQ, they are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Finance Assistant to join the friendly and dynamic Finance Department. You’ll be part of a highly skilled, self-motivated team ensuring our statutory and regulatory financial obligations are met with precision and timeliness.
Your new role
As a Senior Finance Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the Financial Controller and wider finance team. You’ll be responsible for a variety of finance and administrative tasks, contributing to the smooth operation of our financial processes and helping maintain a professional and weing office environment.Key Responsibilities
1. Manage credit control and sales invoicing for the organisation and its subsidiaries.
2. Access and monitor bank accounts.
3. Support the Finance Assistant with:Matching purchase invoicesResolving payment queriesSupplier statement reconciliationsPayment runsSpreadsheet maintenanceMonth-end reportingDocument control (filing, photocopying, scanning)
4. Handle iing calls and resolve queries or forward messages appropriately.
5. Contribute to maintaining a safe, tidy, and weing office space.
What you'll need to succeed
Strong knowledge of Sage 50 Accounts.
6. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
7. Excellent verbal and writtenmunication skills.
8. Strong organisational and administrative abilities.
9. Proven ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively.
