Hours:
· Monday to Friday, typically 09:30 – 18:00hrs
· Out of hours including weekend & Bank Holidays split between the operations team

About the Role:
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Entry-Level Import/Export Operations Clerk to join our growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to begin or continue a career in logistics and potentially sales supporting the business development manager. You will play a key role in supporting the movement of goods across the globe while ensuring compliance with all shipping regulations via Road, Air & Courier.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare and process import/export documentation
* Liaise with clients and carriers
* Ensure compliance with international regulations across the globe
* Monitor shipments and keep accurate records of import/export activities
* Ensure customers are kept informed of the status of their goods
Requirements:
* Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
* Good communication skills, both written and verbal
* Proficiency with IT systems (Microsoft Office, outlook, excel and word)
* Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure
* Previous experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or customs is helpful but not required – full training will be provided
* Full and valid UK driving licence, with access to your own transport is an advantage but not essential.
