Job overview
We are looking for an enthusiastic person to join our team on Castle View East (ward 22) in the role of non-clinical support worker.
The role involves supporting clinical care delivery, coordinating all patient facilities and services within the ward area and ensuring that the ward is a safe, clean, tidy and comfortable environment.
Main duties of the job
* Co‑ordinate all patient facilities services within the ward area.
* Ensure that the ward is a safe, clean, tidy and comfortable environment.
* Ensure that food is available to meet the patients' needs.
* Liaise with the nursing team when required regarding patients' needs.
Person specification
* Previous experience in a similar role.
* Experience working with patients/clients in a care setting.
* Qualifications or completed courses such as food safety.
* Experience with infection control protocols.
