The Role
This is an opportunity for a proactive finance professional who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, enjoys solving problems, and is passionate about driving financial excellence. You’ll work autonomously while being fully supported by the wider finance and FSD teams.
We are looking for a talented and driven Interim Finance Business Partner to join our dynamic and successful FireSealsDirect team on a short term contract. As the on‑site finance lead, you will play a key role in producing monthly management accounts, leading the budgeting and forecasting cycles, and ensuring robust financial controls and processes are in place.
You will be a trusted advisor to the business, providing clear financial insight, supporting decision‑making, and fostering a culture of transparency, integrity, and collaboration. You’ll also act as the go‑to expert for NetSuite and financial reporting across the site.
What You’ll Do
* Take full ownership of financial tasks, ensuring work is completed accurately and on time.
* Manage all revenue processes, including invoicing and revenue recognition.
* Review debtor ageing, oversee credit control, and ensure effective working capital management.
* Oversee cash management activities, including supplier payments, customer collections, bank reconciliations, and weekly cashflow forecasting.
* Maintain robust expenditure records and ensure accurate invoice coding.
* Lead month‑end processes and prepare the FireSealsDirect management accounts, including insightful analysis and recommendations.
* Lead monthly forecasting meetings, highlighting variances and presenting clear action plans.
* Prepare and review quarterly VAT returns.
* Support the preparation of annual budgets and year‑end accounts and manage the year‑end audit for FireSealsDirect Ltd.
* Review year‑end tax returns and ensure compliance across all statutory requirements.
What We’re Looking For
* A recognised professional finance qualification (ACCA, ACA, CIMA, or equivalent).
* Previous experience in a Finance Business Partner or similar analytical Finance role.
* Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
* Experience working with NetSuite or similar ERP systems.
* Outstanding attention to detail and a pragmatic, solutions‑focused mindset.
* Excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
* Confidence in navigating ambiguity, challenging assumptions, and driving continuous improvement.
* A collaborative approach, building strong, positive relationships across teams.
* A natural curiosity and willingness to explore better, smarter ways of working.
Ideal profile
* Qualified finance professional, ACCA, ACA, CIMA or similar.
* Experience as a Finance Business Partner or in a hands‑on commercial finance role.
* Comfortable acting as the on‑site finance lead and trusted advisor.
* Strong management accounts, forecasting, and budgeting experience.
* Confident using Excel and financial models to support decisions.
* Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP systems.
* Clear communicator, able to challenge and influence senior stakeholders.
* Commercial mindset with strong attention to detail.
* Proactive, organised, and comfortable working autonomously.
