Right Now Group are currently looking for an experienced Roadfreight Operator to join our client based in Leicester. You will be joining a rapidly growing Freight Forwarder who has experienced fantastic growth in its Roadfreight Division over recent years. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where you'll play a key role in managing daily operations, building client relationships, and ensuring goods are delivered efficiently and cost-effectively through a strong network of partners. You'll act as a main point of contact for key accounts, support commercial reporting and P&Ls, and work closely with suppliers and internal teams to deliver a seamless service. Key Responsibilities of a Roadfreight Operator: Manage the day-to-day operations of Roadfreight accounts. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and suppliers, including conducting customer visits. Understand client requirements and provide tailored solutions to ensure efficient shipment flows. Handle shipments, quotes, and queries promptly and accurately. Support with client reporting and P&L management. Input data and follow internal processes to ensure accurate and efficient operations. Take ownership of workload, demonstrating initiative and responsibility. Contribute to the growth of the team and wider business through proactive collaboration. Candidate Requirements for Roadfreight Operator: Minimum 4 years' experience in Roadfreight forwarding is ideal but not essential Proven background in customer service and client relationship management. Strong operational and financial awareness within freight forwarding. Excellent communication skills (written and verbal). High attention to detail and strong organisational skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. Ambition to grow and develop professionally.
