We are seeking an experienced Clinical Negligence Lawyer (5+ years PQE) to join our dedicated legal team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled lawyer to handle complex and high-value clinical negligence matters, provide specialist legal advice, and represent clients with compassion and expertise.

Key Responsibilities:
* Manage a varied caseload of clinical negligence claims, including cases of medical misdiagnosis, surgical errors, birth injuries, and delayed treatment.
* Provide clear, empathetic, and strategic legal advice to clients, assessing merits, risks, and potential outcomes.
* Conduct thorough investigations, including reviewing medical records and instructing expert witnesses.
* Draft and prepare legal documents, pleadings, witness statements, and settlement agreements.
* Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and settlement negotiations.
* Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring clients are supported and fully informed throughout their case.
* Stay up to date with relevant case law, legislation, and developments in clinical negligence and healthcare law.
* Ensure all case handling complies with professional, regulatory, and procedural standards.
Requirements and Attributes:

o 5+ years PQE with demonstrable experience in clinical negligence.
* Strong technical expertise and litigation skills in claimant clinical negligence work.
* Excellent drafting, analytical, and negotiation skills.
* Ability to manage a busy and complex caseload with minimal supervision.
* Client-focused approach, with sensitivity when dealing with vulnerable or distressed clients.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a supportive team.
* Experience in supervising or mentoring junior solicitors and trainees is desirable.
* Commercial awareness and willingness to contribute to business development.
