SEN Teacher
Location: Sheffield
Salary: £150 - £230 per day (Depending on Experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-Day / Long Term, Full-time / Part-time

Are you passionate about delivering quality education to students with special educational needs?

GSL Education are currently seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable SEN Teacher to work in specialist and mainstream settings in Sheffield. This is a rewarding opportunity for an experienced teacher to provide tailored education that supports academic, emotional and social development.

As a SEN Teacher, you will play a vital role in delivering personalised learning to pupils with special educational needs. This includes working with children with a range of additional needs such as Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

Your Responsibilities as a SEN Teacher:

* Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons that cater to individual learning needs
* Develop and implement Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs)
* Work closely with teaching assistants, SENCOs, and parents/carers
* Use a range of strategies to manage behaviour effectively
* Foster an inclusive and nurturing classroom environment
* Monitor and record pupil progress accurately
* Provide regular feedback to all stakeholders

Requirements for SEN Teacher:

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Experience teaching students with SEND, either in specialist or mainstream settings
* Strong knowledge of SEND Code of Practice and current educational frameworks
* Excellent behaviour management skills
* Ability to differentiate effectively and use a range of learning tools
* Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one
