A leading facilities maintenance company is seeking a skilled Handyman for a permanent role on a static contract in Portsmouth. This is a stable, full-time position offering an excellent work-life balance.
Key Benefits:
* Salary: £30,000 per annum
* Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours/week
* Holiday: 25 days + 8 bank holidays
* Other: Company pension scheme & static site (no travel)
Role and Responsibilities:
* Perform a range of general maintenance including basic plumbing, carpentry, and minor decorative repairs (painting, patching).
* Conduct Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedules.
* Respond efficiently to reactive maintenance requests from the on-site team.
* Ensure all work is completed safely and to a high standard.
What We're Looking For:
* Proven experience in a multi-skilled Handyman or maintenance role.
* Proficient in basic plumbing, carpentry, and general repairs.
* A proactive problem-solver who can work independently.
* Good communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
* Relevant trade qualifications are a plus.
