The Space to Stay is a collection of premium self-catering studios and apartments for stays in St Andrews. We offer a fully furnished ensuite accommodations, including our signature studios and a range of multi-bedroom apartments.
The Role:
As Food, Events and Beverage Manager, your role will include:
Food, Beverage & Events Operations
1. Lead and manage all food, beverage, and events concepts across the campus.
2. Drive profitability through effective budget management and P&L control.
3. Develop menus, service styles, and event offerings to meet guest and student needs.
4. Ensure compliance with food safety, licensing, and health & safety regulations.
Guest Experience & Student Wellbeing
5. Champion outstanding guest service.
6. Ensure student wellbeing is a core focus of all operations.
7. Use guest and student feedback to drive continuous improvement.
Events & Auditorium Management
8. Plan and deliver a diverse events programme across the campus.
9. Work with third-party companies to deliver bespoke auditorium events.
10. Oversee logistics, staffing, and supplier coordination for events.
Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
11. Work closely with the Campus Management Team to deliver first-class service.
12. Identify gaps and improvement opportunities in current delivery.
13. Monitor trends and best practice to enhance the campus offer.
The ideal candidate will have:
14. Experience in a food, beverage and large scale events managerment.
15. Great leadership skills and enjoy working as part of a team in a social environment.
16. Availability to work shifts, including evenings and weekends as per business needs.
17. Commitment to guest service and student wellbeing.
