Temporary School Caretaker

We are currently seeking a reliable and proactive Temporary School Caretaker to support a school in Newcastle on a short-term basis, with an ASAP start.The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the school site is safe, secure, and well maintained throughout the school day.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Opening and securing the school site
2. General caretaking and site maintenance duties
3. Carrying out basic repairs and health & safety checks
4. Supporting with cleanliness and tidiness of school premises
5. Liaising with staff regarding site-related issues
Essential Requirements:
6. Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the Update Service
7. Ability tomit to full-time hours at short notice
8. Reliable, practical, and able to work independently
Desirable:
9. Previous experience working as a caretaker or similar
10. Experience within a school or education environment (desirable but not essential)
