We are looking for HGV Class 1 driver to join our company to carry out night trunking duties. Drivers will be expected to to attend our Launceston site to carry out a night trunk in an artic vehicle to the Palletforce hub at Burton upon Trent, unload, reload and return to base.

Responsibilities and Duties For Night Trunk Driver
Key Task Requirements
* Ensure the most direct truck friendly route is taken
* Ensure the vehicle is safe and fit to be on the road by carrying out adequate daily checks.
* Work within the tachograph and working time directive laws
* Meet our connection times for loading and unloading at the pallet hub
* Able to work on own initiative and part of a team
* Report any issues effectively and promptly to management
* Be able to work to a productive nature.
Qualifications and Skills For Night Trunk Driver
Key Skill Requirements
* Full driving licence with C+E vocation
* In date driver CPC and digital tachograph
* Posses good literacy and numeracy skills.
* Have a reason able level of fitness
* Presentable, good attitude and polite.
* Counterbalance forklift experience beneficial but not essential
* LST experience beneficial but not essential
