We are looking for a highly talented, forward thinking Senior Digital Creative Designer to join our eCommerce Design team on a 12 Month FTC (maternity cover). Based from Next Head Office in Leicestershire, with a competitive salary range and great benefits
About the role
As a Senior Digital Creative Designer in the fast paced Next Creative team, you'll be focused on creating digital artwork and designs for Next and our partner sub-sites. Whilst enhancing the Next brand through well considered, exceptional designs, you'll be responsible for creative ideation, designing content for Homepages, onsite editorials, banners, graphics and emails with hi-fidelity designs.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced content designer from an in house or agency background who is looking for a new challenge.
What you'll be doing
* You will be responsible for creating appropriate design solutions within brand templates
* Using your design skills you'll be creating assets and layouts for homepages, emails, editorial content across Next and subsites.
* Building emails and testing their performance.
* Creating digital-ready artwork, implementing brand guidelines, styles and layouts, and working to specified deadlines.
* Working closely with internal and external stakeholders as well as design leads across the Online Department to help drive online sales
* Working up concepts and ideation across Next and subsites
* We have a large team of experienced designers so sharing and collaborating is essential to a successful outcome.
What you'll bring
* Proven years of experience in the digital design space
* Experience of amending css and html
* HTML Coding knowledge
* Working experience of a CMS would be beneficial (Training would be given)
* Strong idea generation skills
* Proactive approach to tasks with a positive outlook
* Someone who can create original ideas and concepts
* Good working knowledge of Figma & Adobe Creative Cloud
* Be comfortable presenting to key stakeholders in the business so having excellent communication skills is a must.
* Comfortable managing own workload and working to tight deadlines
* A strong portfolio of existing creative work
