Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for product lifecycle management and supplier relationships? EVO Group Ltd is seeking a dynamic Category Manager to lead the development and performance of a key product category across multiple sales channels.
This is a hybrid role based in Normanton, with occasional travel to other EVO locations and international supplier meetings.
What You'll Be Doing
Own and manage the full product lifecycle within your category.
Build and execute multi-year category plans to drive revenue and profit growth.
Negotiate supplier terms including rebates, price support, and marketing funds.
Develop private label ranges and manage product launches.
Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and supplier performance.
Collaborate with internal teams including Purchasing, Inventory, Marketing, and Compliance.
Ensure product and supplier compliance with UK/EU regulations.
Support sustainable procurement and CSR initiatives.
What We're Looking For
Proven experience in supplier negotiation and category management.
Strong commercial acumen and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver results under pressure.
Experience sourcing from manufacturers and international brands.
Understanding of the full sales cycle and its impact on profitability.
High attention to detail and strong numeracy skills.
Desirable
Knowledge of the business supplies and services industry.
Experience with product marketing and catalogue production.
