We are currently seeking an experienced and reliableGeneral Builderto join our team on a day-rate basis. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in general building and property maintenance, with a hands-on approach and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
* General building and maintenance work across residential properties
* Removal and reinstatement of boxing around boilers and flues
* Removal and reinstatement of cupboards and airing cupboards
* Creating access in walls, floors, and cupboards for pipework
* Removal of gas fires, bricking up openings, and re-skimming surfaces
* Reinforcing walls to support radiator installations
Requirements:
* Proven experience in general building and maintenance
* Good knowledge of safe working practices
* Own Van and Tools
* Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
* Ability to read and follow job specs or drawings
