Our Local Authority Client are recruiting an locum Occupational Therapy Team Manager for the Adult Social Care Service in Stoke on Trent.
Key Responsibilities:
* Empower individuals by ensuring they are actively involved and understood throughout their journey with the service.
* Offer tailored, person-centred support that promotes independence, connection, and well-being.
* Identify and address systemic barriers to improve service efficiency and effectiveness.
* Regularly engage with service users to gather feedback and drive continuous improvement.
* Promote diversity, inclusion, and ethical practice across all levels of service delivery.
* Model and advocate for best practices in occupational therapy, including reflective practice, professionalism, and appropriate use of power and authority.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.
* Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
* Management experience is essential.
* Have a detailed understanding of key legislation and Guidance underpinning work with adults.
* Have a detailed understanding of Adults Safeguarding - principles and best practice.
