We have an exciting opportunity for a pharmacist to develop their knowledge and skills in Cancer Services. You will be supported by a team of experienced Pharmacists working to provide chemotherapy to patients across east Kent.
You will work with our Oncology and Haematology Pharmacists, as well as the Aseptic Production Unit and Dispensary teams, to ensure chemotherapy is supplied safely and appropriately.
Main duties of the job
1. Provide clinical pharmacy input into oncology/haematology prescriptions generated from Chemotherapy Units across the Trust.
2. Support the Aseptics Unit in supplying systemic anticancer and clinical trials medical products.
3. Identify risk management issues and develop safe systems of practice within the chemotherapy units.

* Post-registration hospital experience with clinical exposure in various environments.

Qualifications
* 4-year Master’s degree in Pharmacy from a UK-accredited institution or equivalent recognized by the General Pharmaceutical Council of Great Britain.
