SENIOR DATA ENGINEER

You will play a hands on role shaping a modern data platform that supports real time decision making, working with large volumes of live data in a highly collaborative engineering environment.

THE ROLE
You will join a data function and work closely with engineering leadership to evolve the data platform end to end. The role is highly hands on and focused on building robust, scalable solutions.
* Designing and building data pipelines from application layer through to the warehouse
* Working with high volume, near real time data streams
* Developing and maintaining data models to support analytics and product use cases
* Improving engineering standards, testing practices and production readiness
* Contributing to the setup and management of multiple environments, including staging and production
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Must have:
* Strong commercial experience in data engineering with previous experience in software development/DevOps.
* Previous experience or understanding of data modelling
* Strong Python, SQL and Terraform skills
* AWS services (GCP considered)
