As Fabrication Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day running of the fabrication department, ensuring production targets, quality standards, and health & safety requirements are consistently achieved.
This is a hands-on supervisory role suited to someone with strong fabrication knowledge, leadership skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
Working hours:
Mon-Weds: 2pm-Midnight
Thurs: 2pm-11:30pm
Fri: OFF (Unless OT)
Key Responsibilities
* Supervise and support the fabrication team on a daily basis
* Allocate workloads and manage production priorities to meet deadlines
* Ensure all fabrication work is completed to the required quality standards
* Read and interpret engineering drawings and production specifications
* Monitor productivity and identify opportunities for process improvement
* Ensure compliance with health & safety procedures at all times
* Support and develop team members through training and mentoring
* Liaise with production, quality, and management teams to ensure smooth workflow
* Assist with resolving manufacturing issues and improving efficiency
Were looking for someone who:
* Has previous experience in a fabrication or sheet metal environment
* Has supervisory or team leader experience within manufacturing/engineering
* Can confidently read and interpret engineering drawings
* Has xsngvjr strong organisational and communication skills
* Is hands-on, practical, and leads by example
* Can motivate and manage a team effectively
* Has a strong focus on quality, safety, and efficiency
