We are excited to offer a Band 3 Therapy Technician position based across both our University Hospitals Coventry & Warwickshire (UHCW) and City of Coventry Health Centre sites. You will have the opportunity to work across two of our highly specialist therapy teams including Pelvic Health and Respiratory Physiotherapy. Both teams are small, friendly and passionate about providing exceptional patient care. From delivering self‑management and education classes, treating a caseload of non‑complex outpatients or supporting the smooth running of team operations through various administrative and data collection tasks, you will be an integral part of the team. Responsibilities
* To treat patients, following protocols that have been delegated to them e.g., walking aid assessments, progression of treatments, participating in planned group work, activities of daily living, and individual activities as part of ongoing treatment. Only undertaking tasks that they have been trained to carry out.
* To independently develop and provide exercise programmes for individual patients, with the guidance of a registered therapist where appropriate.
* To use knowledge and understanding of common physical, mental and behavioural health conditions to recognise deterioration in service users. Respond by promptly escalating concerns to a registered practitioner.
