Hunnitots Day Nursery at Ipswich Hospital are looking for an Early Years Practitioner to join the nursery team to provide care for children aged 4 months to 5 years.
Hunnitots Day Nursery, based at Ipswich Hospital, has approximately 70 to 80 children booked in each day. Parents can choose from over 10 different sessions between 7 am and 6 pm. The aim is to accommodate the varied staff working patterns at Ipswich Hospital (part of East Suffolk and North Essex NHS Foundation Trust).
We are seeking someone with excellent communication and listening skills to plan the day and respond to the different needs of the children.
You will be enthusiastic, well-organized, and hold a Childcare qualification at level 2 or 3.
* To care for the physical and emotional needs of each child, demonstrating an understanding of children’s needs in the early years.
* To help create a happy and loving atmosphere where each child can develop as an individual through play and learning life skills.
* To develop a stimulating environment tailored to the needs of individual children, in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum (EYFS).
