Account Manager – Print &; Direct Mail
Location: West Sussex
Salary: £35,000 - £37,000 DOE
We are partnering with a well-established and growing print and direct mail business, to recruit an experienced Account Manager to join their expanding team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-driven and proactive individual to take ownership of client relationships and deliver high-quality print and direct mail campaigns within a fast-paced, service-led environment.
The Role
As an Account Manager, you will act as the key point of contact for a portfolio of clients, managing projects end-to-end from initial brief through to delivery and invoicing. You will take a consultative approach, working closely with clients to understand their requirements and deliver tailored solutions that meet their needs and deadlines.
You will also collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure all projects are executed efficiently, accurately, and to the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities
* Build, maintain, and grow relationships with existing clients through regular and meaningful communication
* Work proactively with clients to provide advice and deliver effective print and direct mail solutions
* Interpret client briefs and specifications, providing accurate quotations within agreed SLA’s
* Use internal MIS systems to create detailed work instructions and brief internal teams
* Manage projects end-to-end, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to specification
* Liaise with suppliers to source materials, obtain quotes, raise PO’s, and place orders
* Ensure accurate and timely invoicing of all projects
* Handle customer queries and resolve issues in a professional and timely manner
* Monitor and achieve both client and internal SLA’s and KPI’s
* Attend client and internal meetings as required
* Provide support and cover across the client services team when needed
* Work closely with the Business Development Director to support and identify new business opportunities
About You
* Proven experience in an Account Manager role within direct mail
* Strong client-focused approach with excellent relationship-building skills
* High attention to detail, with the ability to interpret client specifications, briefs, and artwork
* Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
* Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
* Good IT and computer skills (experience with MIS systems advantageous)
* Knowledge of postal services and DSA providers would be beneficial
