A dynamic and forward-thinking group of businesses are seeking an experienced Interim Financial Controller to join on a 12-month fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a technically astute finance professional to step into a pivotal role within a growing and innovative organisation.
You'll be reporting directly to the CFO and leading a capable finance team, ensuring robust financial control and high-quality reporting across the group.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee all company accounts, investments, and financial operations
* Lead and motivate the finance team
* Maintain and improve accounting systems, including payroll and invoicing
* Ensure accurate recording, filing, and reporting of financial transactions
* Implement and maintain strong financial reporting systems
* Collaborate with auditors
* Analyse financial reports and data to identify discrepancies and trends
* Produce monthly and annual reports, forecasts, and insights for senior leadership
* Manage cash flow and internal reporting
* Maintain a strong control framework across finance and the wider business
Candidate Profile:
* ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified professional
* Experience working within a PE-backed environment is essential
* A strong technical accounting knowledge and experience is required
* Proven experience in financial leadership roles
