Senior Applications Support Officer

Rate: £400 per day Location: Bristol Working Pattern: Hybrid

Overview of the Senior Application Support Officer:

Exciting opportunity to join a well-established public-sector organisation as a Senior

Applications Support Officer within their IT Operations Team.

If you have strong experience in application support, team leadership and system improvements, this could be a great next step in your career.

Role Highlights as a Senior Application Support Officer:

Lead and manage an Application Support team (up to 10 staff)

Oversee the day-to-day running of IT applications, including helpdesk, incidents, and requests

Collaborate with internal teams, stakeholders, and external suppliers

Drive service improvement, data quality, and GDPR-compliant processes Analyse performance data and recommend improvements

Key Requirements as a Senior Application Support Officer:

Support the Housing Application Support team

Strong experience with NEC Housing

Knowledge of Allocations or Repairs is a plus

Good SQL skills

Mostly remote, with occasional office visits if needed

Benefits available that a Senior Application Support Officer will receive:

£400 day rate

Remote working from home

8-month contract
